Steps to Solve SuDoku 5 × 5 grid Puzzles

The aim of the SuDoku 5 × 5 grid puzzle is to enter the digits 1 through 5 or the letters A through E in each cell of a 5×5 grid made up of 5 subgrids (called "regions") so that each row, column, and region contains exactly one instance of each digit or letter.
To Start:

  1. Print a blank SuDoku 5 × 5 Puzzle Form If you have a color printer, then you can print the puzzle. If you don't have a color printer, print the blank form and use a red pen to circle the regions.

  2. Write in the letters or numbers (clues) that are given to you on the lines at the bottom of each cell.

  3. Using the process of elimination:
Do not write any letters or numbers that are already in the same column as the empty cell.
Do not write any letters or numbers that are already in the same row as the empty cell.
Pentomino Region : a region is a group of 5 cells that are the same color.
Do not write any letters or numbers that are already in the same region as the empty cell.
  4. As you go from empty cell to empty cell, you will eventually see that only one letter or number can fill the empty cell. When this happens, write that letter or number at the bottom of the cell. When you write a number at the bottom of a cell, that cell is no longer an empty cell.
  5. When you have eliminated all but one of the possible numbers in a cell write it at the bottom of the cell. Continue in this manner until the puzzle is solved.
